Welcome BBQ: After our welcome orientation session in the afternoon join your fellow students, both international and Danish, for a barbeque buffet. Don’t miss your chance to meet new people; it’s your first get-together dinner!

Welcome Party: Finish off the long day of formal introductions with a little informal dancing. We are organizing an amazing welcome party for you really get to know each other!

Amazing Race: After this event you will not have to worry about getting lost again! This event will have you adventuring through downtown Copenhagen and learning where everything is and why it is there. With your fellow students you will explore Copenhagen.

Folk Dancing: Time after time, Danish Folk Dancing is the event with the best feedback! Most of the dances date from around 780-880 and were originally danced by farmers and poor people. The professional dance group, “Amagerlands Folkedansere,” will teach you the steps of some traditional dances and will be accompanied by live music. Yes, it may be old-fashioned, but we know from experience that this will be one of the most fun nights you will have. This is one event not to miss!

Canal Tour: Sit back, relax and enjoy this one hour guided tour through Copenhagen’s canals. We set sail from Nyhavn, continue through Christianshavn’s Canal, pass by Amalienborg Palace, the residence of the Royal family, and much more

Christiania & Jazz festival: A tour of Christiania is exciting and different! Come see to experience the uniqueness of Christiania. Afterwards join us at the big jazz festival held in Copenhagen every summer with more than 700 concerts and events citywide and about 100,000 viewers. This tradition is not only for jazz lovers but also for anyone who enjoys a relaxing summer night with great friends and a unique atmosphere in the heart of the city.

Berlin Weekend: We have arranged an amazing, fantastic, great, educational, inspiring, historical trip to Berlin. We will leave Friday morning and return Sunday night.

International Buffet: Bring your favorite dish from your home country to the international dinner and sample food from around the world. Each country will have its own table. We’ll share a buffet dinner and wash it all down with a couple beers. Please make enough food for 4 people!

Oslo Cruise: Join us on this wonderful weekend cruise to Oslo and back. It is going to be an amazing cruise with amazing food and party and we will have an afternoon in the Norwegian capital.

Movie Night: This is going to be a relaxing night with a great Danish movie with English subtitles. We will watch the classic Danish comedy “Terkel I Knibe” (“Terkel in Trouble”). Before the movie we will have a presentation of Danish humor and what makes it so special.

Day Trip to Roskilde: Roskilde used to be the capital of Denmark. It is one of the oldest cities of Denmark and a city of great historical importance. Roskilde Cathedral is the church in world where most Kings and Queens are buried. The cathedral is on UNESCO world list heritage.

Day Trop to the Open Air Museum: Prior to the industrial revolution Denmark was a farming nation and most people lived in smaller houses. Here are original historical houses which are all moved stone by stone to this location. The buildings are from all parts of Denmark. The museum is an open area where we will see how the commoners lived from around 1650 to our days.

Goodbye Party: Sadly, all good things have to come to an end. This will be the last chance that you and your new friends can party together so do come down and enjoy the night at Luux with drinks, fun and laughter. This will be the perfect way to spend your last night in Copenhagen!
