    Two new members of CBS's Board

    CBS has appointed Mette Vestergaard and Michael Rasmussen to the Board. Both will take up their positions as new members of the Board on 1 February 2016 and replace Eva Berneke and Peter Schütze.

    New Trends in Anti-Corruption.

    On 18 September 2015 the CBS Public-Private Platform and the Law Enforcement and Armed Forces Cluster (LEAF), in cooperation with Confederation of Danish Industries and Transparency International Denmark, held a one-day conference exploring the recent trends in the global fight against corruption. The conference, which followed up on a similar conference taking place at CBS in 2013, gathered 95 representatives from the Danish business community, NGOs and the government to discuss the risk of corruption on global markets and how it can be handled, with a particular focus on the challenges facing Danish businesses.

    The Danish Industry Foundation boosts research on big social data

    CBS received a 6.2 m kroner grant from the Danish Industry Foundation for research on big social data. Danish companies need to improve their ability to combine data streams from social media with big data from websites and customer databases. Building new analytical models can provide significant competitive advantages.

    DSEB and CBS award prizes to staff and students in November

    There will be trophies, prizes, and a presentation by one of CBS's professors at the CBS Prize Winners' Reception, where The Danish Society for Education and Business and CBS give prizes to students and staff. Everyone is welcome at the award ceremony in the Kiln Hall on 6 November.
