Two new vice-deans for the public programmes area at CBS Executive

The president of CBS has appointed two new vice-deans for public sector programmes, and they will report to the CBS Executive area. Public management and governance is a growth area. More focus than ever is on leadership, management and governance in the public sector, including a new master of public governance degree (the flexible master) and new demands for executive education and leadership development for public sector managers. The appointment reflects CBS’s commitment to the public management and governance area.

The two new vice deans are Carsten Greve, professor with special responsibilities from International Center for Business and Politics and Dorthe Pedersen, associate professor from Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy and current director of the MPA-programme at CBS. Among the main tasks for the new vice deans will be to coordinate initiatives related to public management research-based teaching and executive education, and to facilitate dialogue and partnerships between CBS researchers and external contacts in Denmark and around the world. The appointment is for a three year period.
