Præsentation

I am interested in the interplay of micro-level processes and macro structures of international political economy, in particular international economic and fiscal governance. My research focuses on international taxation, state-business relations, expertise and professions. This includes researching changing global tax politics; struggles over tax havens, tax competition and the digital economy; expert competition for policy ideas and prestige; professionalization of transnational groups, its sources and impacts; and more.

My analytical approach is rooted in the traditions of International Political Economy and Political Sociology, with a broad tool kit mixing qualitative and descriptive quantitative methods, such as qualitative interviews, observation, and sequence analysis.
