MBA Team enters the semi-final of L’Oreal Business Competition 2005

Selected among 1500 teams from 54 countries, after a series of 5 rounds of competition, the team of three CBS MBA students from the Class of 2005, Eustace Furtado, Sergei Mendoza, Ozlem, Kapiz entered the semi-final of the LÓreal e-Strat Challenge.

The LÓreal e-Strat Challenge is based on an interactive economic simulation where the participants evolve within the competitive environment of the cosmetic products industry and manage a portfolio of brands.

In the second phase of the competition, the team submitted a business plan which is reviewed by the Directors of Finance and Administration at LÓreal. On February 18, 2005, the jury will select two teams from each of the 8 geographical zones to join the final which will be held in Paris.
