Executive MBA Class of 2005 Graduated
The graduation ceremony of the Executive MBA celebrated the successful completion of an intensive 23-month program focusing on developing general management knowledge as well as leadership competencies of the participants. Diplomas were handed to the graduates by Mark Wilson, CEO & President of East Asiatic Company and "Ambassador" for the EMBA Class 2004/2005 as well as Mogens Bjerre, Associate Dean Executive MBA.
Anne Mette Dissing-Immerkær, Director CBS Executive, Per Junker Thiesgaard, Executive MBA Program Director and Jens Søndergaard, Chairman of the MBA Alumni Society Board addressed the graduates at the ceremony. CBS will be proud of their future successes and hope that they will continue their active engagement with the school performing as mentors in the program as well as via the CBS MBA Alumni Society.
Karl-Henrik Dahl, Assistant Managing Director of Pres-Vac Engineering A/S received Student of the Year Award from Alexander Peitersen, Managing Director of Publicis/REPUTATION. The official graduation ceremony was followed by a reception and a special graduation dinner.
The Executive MBA Program was launched in 1995. Its comprehensive curriculum offers participants to develop new management knowledge, forge business contacts as well as develop friendships among the participants. Aimed to develop tomorrow's business leaders, the program takes a practical approach while grounded in research. Participants in the program include senior executives from public as well as private organizations and successful entrepreneurs. In addition to coursework at CBS, participants also took part in study tour to China and the Silicon Valley in the US. They have also worked on actual challenges in their organizations during the integrated strategy projects component of the program.
