Bramstrup Performing Arts 2009 - Artistic participation

News on the annual Center for Art & Leadership event at the beautiful Bramstrup Estate.

The artistic participation this year will underline the theme on the Reenchantment of Mimesis and introduce different artistic approaches. The Director of Das Beckwerk, the Flute Duo Fatamorgana and a scenic performance inspired by Don Quixote. As a prologue for the conference, the Voces Academy Madrigals will begin the night before with a set of artistic interventions a la Bramstrup. Curator: Peter Hanke.

The Director of Das Beckwerk impersonates the concept of Mimesis and functions in residence of the conference

Fatamorgana - Flute Duo in an investigation of the Bach-Inventionen.

Saturday 20th June

Afternoon performance by the Figura Ensemble of "Am I not Don Quixote" for 3 musicans and 1 actor. Music by Peter Bruun and text by Sven Ørnø.
