Kai Krüger as new adjunct professor
Adjunct professor in commercial law at the Law Department
Kai Krüger, who has served as a professor at the University of Bergen since 1973, is one of the most prominent Nordic commercial lawyers of his generation. He has a very comprehensive and original production and his academic work proves his interest law and its use in practical life.
He is actively involved in the development of legal practice as a temporarily appointed judge in the Norwegian Supreme Court in 1999; as the first chairman of the Norwegian Consumer Complaints board in the period 1978-1992; and since 2003 as a member of the Norwegian Board for Public Procurement.
Popular Erasmus course
In addition, Kai Krüger has made a huge effort in the education area. Among other things, he has been responsible of the international Erasmus course in ‘Public and Utilities Contract Law’ at the University in Bergen, which has attracted a great deal of interest from both students, practitians and researchers.
