Marianne Risberg in Memoriam

Marianne Risberg, Academic Officer and CBS employee for 25 years passed away on 29th September 2010. Marianne died at the age of 65, only 4 weeks after her retirement, after a long period of illness.

Marianne has performed many important tasks, but she will especially be remembered for her efforts to develop the research support function at the Department of Organization. She has also made an invaluable contribution to the development of European research collaboration in the context of EGOS (European Group of Organization Studies) and to collaboration between Scandinavian and North American organizational scholars in the context of the SCANCOR-Center at Stanford University. Marianne's strong dedication, professionalism and efficiency were recognized far beyond CBS.
