CBS' meeting with the Science Minister
Yesterday, the Chairman of the CBS Board of Directors Anders Knutsen and Deputy Chairman Peter Schütze attended a meeting with Science Minister Charlotte Sahl Madsen to discuss the events of the past week; Johan Roos' departure as president of CBS and the CBS-SIMI Executive case.
CBS will do everything they possibly can to help the MBA students from the former SIMI, who have been placed in a very difficult situation and who inadvertently have received certificates signed by CBS' president at that time Johan Roos and Dean of Education Jan Molin. We have agreed with the Science Minister that CBS will contact the students today and invite them to a meeting with the participation of the Danish University and Property Agency.
The CBS-SIMI foundation was also discussed at the meeting with the Science Minister. The discussions will continue, as the Science Minister has announced that she will forward further questions in the next days. We are looking forward to receiving and having the opportunity to answer them.
The procedure regarding the appointment of a new president was also discussed with the minister. The Chairman of the Board informed that he will leave the Board on 31 January 2012 and therefore will hold a humble position in the employment process.
The Board met last night to receive information about the meeting with the Science Minister. In that connection it was emphasised that the Board unanimously endorses the agreement with Johan Roos regarding his departure.
On behalf of the Board
