LGBT Network Meeting

The room was packed full when the Diversity and Difference Platform hosted an LGBT+ network meeting Monday 5 November in the afternoon. More than 50 participants came to hear about the Danish government’s recently launched action plan to promote safety, well-being, and equal opportunities for people that identify as LGBT+. PhD Fellow Jannick Friis Christensen facilitated a workshop for the participants to share their lived experiences and knowledge with representatives from the Equality Department in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among the presenters were also platform members Christoph Houmann Ellersgaard and Anton Grau Larsen who problematised the lack of diversity among the Danish power elite.
