Courses 2025
Here you can find lists of all courses offered by CBS Summer University.
There are 3 different kinds of courses:
- 2-week courses with classes on three weekdays each week.
- 3-week courses with classes on three to four weekdays each week.
- 6-week courses with classes on two to three weekdays each week.
Before selecting your courses
Before selecting your courses you should be aware of the following:
- the course offer is subject to student interest and enrolment and there may be changes to the course offer up until the beginning of the programme.
- courses with few applicants will be cancelled before 4 March 2025. You can see if a course is cancelled on the lists of all courses.
- after the application round is over, there will be very limited possibilities to change courses.

Courses for graduate admission
If you need the course to qualify for a graduate programme at CBS, you will find the area which each course can cover in the column Areas covered for graduate admission. Please note: only courses at bachelor level can be used for graduate admission. If you have questions about qualifying for graduate admission, please contact the student guidance counsellor or the Student Hub
2-week courses are intensive short courses. Therefore, you can only take one 2-week course and you cannot take it in combination with other courses the same summer.
Make sure to read the course descriptions very carefully to make sure that you fulfil the course prerequisites.

Workload
A large portion of the learning process takes place outside of class, so you should be prepared to spend some time reading before the start of the programme and preparing for classes during the programme.
- Each 3-week and 6-week course is worth 7.5 ECTS credits - the workload is estimated to 206 student work hours per course.
- Each 2-week course is worth 2.5 ECTS credits - the workload is estimated to 70 student work hours per course.
The estimated workload includes class participation, course reading, group work and exams/written projects.
Class attendance
- 2-week courses: requires you to attend at least 80% of the class sessions.
- 3-week and 6-week courses: class attendance is not mandatory. However, CBS Summer University is a very intensive programme, so we strongly recommend that you attend and actively participate in all classes.
Feedback Activity
Feedback is a part of all courses. Depending on the course the feedback will be:
- feedback for all students: based on a test, quiz, group presentation etc.
- individual feedback: in courses with a project exam or home assignment, you will get an approval of your research question for the project or assignment.
