The future of robot-based entrepreneurship
Robots are gradually becoming more and more intelligent, social, and interactive. This event is based on interdisciplinary conversations between researchers in robots, IT, and business. Learn more about a new domain within entrepreneurship. Which problems can a robot help solve? Are we going to see a growing market for domestic service robots? Which business models will make this work? Get an answer to these questions and others at a robot event organised by CBS' Entrepreneurship Platform and the Danish Society of Engineers.

Time and place:
16 March 14:00-16:00
SPs03 Novo Nordisk Auditorium, Solbjerg Plads 3, 2000 Frederiksberg

The Danish power elite
Who are the most powerful people in Denmark? In their PhD theses, Christoph Houman Ellersgaard, Assistant Professor at the Department of Business and Politics at CBS, and Anton Grau Larsen, sociologist and Research Assistant at the Department of Business and Politics, have studied an extensive network of power consisting of CEOs, politicians, government officials, and union officials, who are setting the direction for the Danish society. Their research has resulted in the book 'Magteliten (the power elite)', published by Politikens Forlag in 2015. Learn more about the 423 Danes that control the country on 17 March. The event is organised by Foreningen for Elite- og Magtstudier (Danish association for studies of power and elite) and CBS. Ticket admission only.

Time and place:
17 March 18:30-20:30

Do we have gender equality in Denmark?
How advanced is gender equality in Denmark? Denmark is often considered a role model to the rest of Europe, but the figures for CEOs, board members, and professors show an 80-20 ratio. On the occasion of Denmark being host of the international conference "Women deliver" in May 2016, CBS has joined forces with the European Parliament to look further into how we are doing getting every talent into play when it comes to research and top positions in private and public organisations in Denmark. The conference features an array of key note speakers and debaters, ready to shed more light on the issue. The conference is in Danish.

Time and place:
3 March 09:00 - 12:30
Room DSC033, Dalgas Have 15, 2000 Frederiksberg
