How do we best manage entrepreneurship?
Wednesday 6 September, 15:30 - 19:30, Solbjerg Plads 3, 2000 Frederiksberg.
Do we have a policy encouraging entrepreneurship in Denmark? How do entrepreneurs shape the companies and vice versa? This will be discussed by a group of researchers, politicians and entrepreneurs at the conference “CBS Business Connect: Ledelse af entreprenørskab” (Entrepreneurship management).
Keynote is economics professor Edward Lazear who researches in entrepreneurship at Stanford University. He has previously been chief economic advisor at the White House for George W. Bush. Member of the Danish Parliament Rasmus Jarlov and serial entrepreneur Mads Faurholt are also on the programme.
The event is the first so-called Business Connect event which is organised by the administrative unit called CBS Business. The purpose of the unit is to build bridges between CBS and the business sector.
The conference will primarily be in Danish.

Learn to successfully operate change processes
Monday 25 September 2017, 13:00 – 18:00, Porcelænshaven 20, 24A/B, 26, 2000 Frederiksberg.
Sundhedsplatformen (digital medical record containing all patient information) and Skat (the Danish Customs and Tax Administration) are two examples of public projects which have put heavy demands on change management. Organisational changes have become part of the daily rounds in many Danish organisations, and they can therefore no longer just relocate assignments between departments and establish new strategic goals. This must be totally revised. Professor Louise Fitzgerald at Oxford University is invited as keynote at the conference ”Sæt organisationen fri” (Free the organisation). She will share her experience from the English healthcare system which Denmark can learn from. Representatives from the Capital Region of Denmark, the Danish Red Cross Youth, Danske Bank and the municipality of Copenhagen will also come and discuss their experiences.
It is Master of Public Governance which for the second time has set up a conference for the public managers of the country.
In addition, a book reception for two new books will take place: Når ledere skaber offentlig værdi and Når teknologier holder mere, end de lover.
The conference is in Danish.
