DICM contributions to Business Humanities
CBS hosted November 24 a symposium on ‘Business humanities. Where humanities means business’. Several scholars from DICM participated and shared their thoughts about interdisciplinary research and teaching.

Professor Anne-Marie Søderberg presented experiences from the recently finished research project ‘Cultural Intelligence as a Strategic Resource’.

Associate professor Lise Skov presented reflections on Leo Tolstoy´s ‘War and Peace’ as compulsory first years reading, and as part of a theoretically informed curriculum.

Associate professor Maribel Blasco shared her thoughts on teaching culture at a business school, and across the DK educational system.

Associate professor Karl-Heinz Pogner talked about discourse communities and text production.

Finally, Professor Brian Moeran presented the new Journal of Business Anthropology and explained to the audience how anthropologists can help us understand the world of business.
