The Financial Times places the CBS Executive MBA among the world’s top 50
On Monday 18 November 2019, the Financial Times made public its prestigious 2019 Executive MBA ranking, revealing that the CBS Executive MBA has reclaimed its place among the world’s best 50 programmes. It climbed seven places compared to 2018 when it held position 57.
“Our Executive MBA programme has, particularly over the past twelve months, created ripples internationally,” says Poul Hedegaard, MBA Director at CBS. ” We have seen an increase in participants stemming from outside of Denmark, enhancing the learning experience for everyone. The Financial Times ranking contributes to getting us noticed on a global scene.”
CBS yet again holds the position as the number one single-university EMBA in the Nordic region and graduates demonstrate an impressive boost in salary with alumni earning on average USD 194.338 three years after graduation. This represents a salary increase of 50%. In the Financial Times ranking, salary increase account for a significant chunk of the total rank (20%).

Another area in which the CBS Executive MBA did well is the ranking criteria ‘research rank’, calculated based on the number of faculty articles published in respected academic journals.

As of 2020, the CBS Executive MBA offers participants the opportunity to personalise their MBA experience by choosing one of four Concentrations: Digitalisation, Finance, Entrepreneurship and Governance & Sustainability. Executives can start already in April with a Concentration in Digitalisation or Governance & Sustainability.
