Academia or industry – how to become a PhD in Finance and what to do with it afterwards
Thursday December 10, 2015, the Department of Finance hosted an information meeting for students interested in pursuing a PhD in Finance at Copenhagen Business School.
At the meeting, three finance professors talked about formal entry requirements, their research agendas and the great opportunities offered by a PhD degree. Two current students talked about life as a PhD student at the Department of Finance, and one PhD graduate talked about his experience in the academic jobmarket.
After the formal program, the attendees had the possibility of talking directly with the Professors and PhD students. For those who were not able to attend the meeting, slides can be downloaded here:
