Center for Financial Frictions (FRIC) publishes the annual highlights for 2014.

The year 2014 was another busy year for the Center for Financial frictions (FRIC). We had prominent visitors, among other Nobel Laureate Robert C. Merton from MIT. We also had 6 of the best new talents within finance visiting for the Top Finance Graduate Award 2014 and some of the world’s leading economists for the FRIC’14 conference.

FRIC center members were in heavy demand as speakers, and were invited to present their research at more than 40 international universities and in 3 central banks and in the IMF. Our research was published in some of the top finance journals and continues to have an impact on finance practice and financial regulation.

Center director David Lando created a 20 meter long FRIC tapestry, currently on display in Rotunden at CBS Solbjerg Plads Campus. It explains the financial crisis from 2008-2013 and can also be accessed online at www.cbsfrictapet.dk
