Two best paper awards to FRIC members
Two FRIC members have won a best paper award for their research, one at the 2016 AIM Investment Conference and the other at the China International Finance Conference.
Professor Lasse Heje Pedersen has won the 2016 AIM Investment Center Best Paper Award for the paper Efficiently Inefficient Markets for Assets and Asset Management, co-authored with Nicolae Garleanu, University of California, Berkeley. The award was decided by a vote of the conference participants at the end of the 2016 AIM Investment Conference, which took place September 15-16, 2016 in Austin, Texas.
Assistant professor Paul Whelan has won the best paper award at the China International Finance Conference in Xiamen, for the paper Cross-Section of Subjective Bond Risk Premia, co-authored with Andrea Buraschi and Ilaria Piatti. The conference took place July 7-10, 2016 in Xiamen, China.
