Two PhD students from the Department of Finance, Andreas Brøgger and Alexander Kronies were awarded a Best Paper Award at the 2nd Conference on Behavioral Research in Finance, Governance, and Accounting

Two PhD students at the Department of Finance, Andreas Brøgger and Alexander Kronies, have won a best paper award for their paper 'Skills and Sentiment in Sustainable Investing' at the 2nd Conference on Behavioral Research in Finance, Governance, and Accounting.

In the paper, Skills and Sentiment in Sustainable Investing, they document that brown investors profit from investing sustainably by timing the sustainability score.

The Best Paper Award was awarded for ‘their outstanding work’ and consisted of € 250 and a plaque.

The 2nd Conference on Behavioral Research in Finance, Governance, and Accounting was hosted online on October 22-23, 2020 by the Justus Liebig University Giessen in Germany and the keynote speech was in fact given by another member of the Department of Finance, Professor Steffen Andersen.
