Caroline de la Porte receives 1 million DKK grant from the Carlsberg Foundation

Wonderful year end news! The Carlsberg Foundation has granted a one-year monograph fellowship to Professor MSO Caroline de la Porte for the project entitled 'The EU as a socially progressive regulatory welfare state? Policies, outcomes and citizens'.  The book will examine how EU regulated social rights address social and gender inequality. Yet, it also addresses the challenges and shortcomings with EU-legislated rights in the welfare state and labour market areas, that are governed, financed and delivered within the boundaries of nation states.
