EGB scholar appointed at South Africa’s Human Science Research Council

Professor MSO Björn Jindra has been appointed as Visting International Research Fellow at the Human Science Research Council (HSRC) of South Africa (2024-2026). The HSRC produces leading-edge policy research, through engaged scholarship, to utilise in understanding and  explaining social conditions and informing social change for inclusive growth in communities. Björn Jindra will be engaged in the work of the Centre for Science, Technology and Innovation Indicators (CeSTII) as the statistical and policy research unit conducting R&D and innovation surveys on behalf of South Africa’s Department of Science and Innovation. The joint research will focus on technologies relevant for reducing GHG emissions in the South African energy sector.
