The quite extensive strategy process at CBS has resulted in strategic maps (visual images) in which CBSs current position and course ahead is plotted. The ordinary role of the maritime map is to assist its users in steering the vessel in the direction of their intended destination.

Yet, the future is always uncertain; will CBS arrive safely at the more global destination, away of the somewhat unclear waters around England, London and the river Thames? Or will it drift away towards the far south-west into the even more dangerous and shallow waters close to the Scandinavian coast? (The others that are living down there appear to be a quite narrow minded bunch of local tribes so it surely seems safer to get some distance by plotting a global direction further to the north). The role of the map might be more complex, however.
