Henri Dekker is new part-time professor at the Department of Accounting and Auditing

The cooperation with Henri Dekker, Professor of Management Control at the School of Business and Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, has been initiated to strengthen the department’s research profile, particularly, within the field of blockchain technology for accounting purposes which is a focus area of the department.

Henri Dekker Henri Dekker is a leading scholar within the area of inter-organizational accounting having published articles on this matter in top tier accounting journals such as Accounting, Organisations and Society, Management Accounting Research, and Journal of Management Accounting Research, as well as in broader management journals such as Management Science and Organization Science. This key expertise makes him very well suited to take an active role in guiding the work of the blockchain researchers at the department.
