Lars Bo Jeppesen er Professor ved Copenhagen Business School, hvor han har en stilling i Management of Innovation på Institut for Strategi og Innovation.

Lars er ekspert i innovation inden for samudvikling med brugere, crowd sourcing, crowd finansiering og teknologiplatforme. Hans forskning fokuserer på innovationsstyring og -strategi i den digitale økonomi med en særlig interesse i virksomheders evne til at få adgang til og udnytte ”eksterne” innovatørers potentiale og dets indflydelse på innovation og virksomhedens ydeevne.

Lars er kandidat fra Københavns Universitet og modtog sin ph.d. fra Copenhagen Business School. Han har tidligere været lektor ved Bocconi University og gæsteforsker ved universiteter som Stanford University, MIT og NASA Tournament Lab ved Harvard University.

Han har samarbejdet med forskellige førende virksomheder om innovationsstrategi og rådgivet regeringer i Europa og Asien om udvikling af innovationspolitikker. Sammen med professor Eric von Hippel (MIT) grundlagde Lars Danish User-Centered Innovation Lab, hvor han ledede et initiativ om best practice inden for innovation, der samlede akademiske forskere og førende virksomheder i projekter til at udvikle, teste og vurdere nye metoder og værktøjer til at fange “distribuerede” innovationer. Hans arbejde er blevet offentliggjort i en række management-tidsskrifter, og det er blevet vist i medier lige fra Financial Times og Fast Company til Nature and Science.
