Fane Groes interviewed in Mandag Morgen about dropouts in vocational education

Fane Groes has been interviewed in Mandag Morgen about the towering dropouts in vocational education in Denmark. Together with colleagues Edith Madsen and Tróndur Sandoy, Fane has performed a register analysis of what happens to young people in the first 60 weeks after they have started the basic course 2 within, among other things, construction. The conclusion was that 31,5 % of the large group that starts directly on basic course 2, does not complete a course, which only takes 20 weeks. The solution to the problem could be more internship opportunities.
