The Pension Research Centre (PeRCent) at the Department of Finance and the Department of Economics, Copenhagen Business School, is proud to announce its fifth conference:
PeRCent Annual Conference 2019
This year’s conference will deal with various aspects of longevity risk in particular, such as how to properly measure and handle longevity risks in pension companies, the financial market for longevity risks, life expectancies of various socioeconomic groups, as well as recent and future developments in retirement ages and consequences for public finances. This year’s policy panel will include high-profile representatives from the Confederation of Danish Industry, FH – Danish Trade Union Confederation, the Danish Economic Councils, and Insurance and Pension Denmark, who will debate current political proposals of providing certain socioeconomic groups in Denmark the right to earlier withdrawal from the labor market. The keynote speech will be given by David Laibson from Harvard University who will talk about behavioral economics and pensions.
The Conference is a joint initiative between Copenhagen Business School and the Danish pension industry and is organized by Professor Svend E.
