Three lectures are being delivered as a series. Each talk has a different emphasis. Successive talks build on the previous ones. This is the first lecture:

"Taking Nature Seriously: Niels Bohr's Proto-Performative Theory of Knowledge and the Question of Nature's Agency"

Can Niels Bohr's insights serve as a useful corrective to contemporary theories of performativity that fail to take account of nature's agency?
