Large Strategic Research grant for Brian Moeran's "Hotspots Team"

Brian Moeran's Hotspots Team has received grant from The Danish Council for Strategic Research's Programme Commission on Creativity, Innovation, New Production Forms and the Experience Economy: 12,8 mill. kr. over four years for the project The Socio-Economic Organization of Creative Industries.

Composed of nine dedicated senior researchers at the Copenhagen Business School, plus Ph.D. students, the programme examines at both macro- and micro-levels of analysis three CI sectors: Fashion & Luxury; Film & Media; and Place Branding, Art & Culture. The programme is accordingly divided into three Research Streams.

The Hotspots Team consists of Research Professor Brian Moeran (IKL) as Research Leader, of Associate Professor Lise Skov (IKL), Professor Jesper Strandgaard (IOA) and Associate Professor Can Seng Ooi (ARC) each leading a Research Stream, of researchers Fabian Csaba Faurholt (IKL), Birgit Stöber (IKL), Trine Bille (IVS), Mark Lorenzen (IVS), Bo Christensen (MARKTG), and Chris John Mathieu (IOA).
