Management change at the Department of Finance

Professor Morten Sørensen will become the acting Head of Department on January 1, 2018. Morten has been a professor at CBS since 2014. He is also adjunct professor of finance and economics at Columbia Business School, and a research fellow at Centre for Economic Policy Research. Morten has previously been an assistant professor of finance at University of Chicago, an associate professor of finance and economics at Columbia Business School, and a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He holds a PhD in Economics from Stanford University.

As previously announced, the current Head of Department of Finance, Søren Hvidkjær, steps down to become Dean of Research at CBS from January 1, 2018.
