Bloomberg ranks the Copenhagen MBA among the top 20 Business Schools in Europe
Bloomberg Businessweek released its annual ranking of the best global business schools, revealing that the Copenhagen MBA ranks among the top 20 in Europe. Schools are evaluated on four indexes: Compensation, Learning, Networking, and Entrepreneurship, and a school’s final rank is determined by responses from students, alumni and recruiters.
"The US is an important recruitment ground for us, and the Bloomberg ranking assists in spreading the word about our MBA programme,"said Poul Hedegaard, CBS MBA Director. "The Full-Time MBA programme is for professionals who recognise the importance of sustainability and are aiming to elevate their careers by learning sustainable business practices. Many of our alumni secure opportunities to work at companies like Ørsted, Vestas, and CHR. Hansen, which are among the top sustainable companies in the world."
Some students offered comments on what they found most attractive about the Copenhagen MBA:
"Diversity and inclusion within the students, focus on sustainability, business case methodology and team work, Copenhagen as location," said one previous graduate.
"The leadership program is a very interesting self-exploratory and developmental journey. Some tools I learnt have made me also a better person," offered another.
"Entrepreneurial focus from an entrepreneur’s, intrapreneur’s, and investor’s perspective," said an alumni.
The Copenhagen MBA Admission Manager is meeting with students virtually who are keen to soak up the latest in sustainable business practices and embrace living in one of the world’s most progressive cities.
Rankings were based on 19,955 surveys from students, alumni, and recruiters, as well as compensation and employment data from each school. For the first-ever Diversity Index, U.S. schools also provided data on race, ethnicity, and gender in their classes.
