Præsentation

My research interests lie broadly in the intersection of corporate governance and international business. Specifically, I focus on understanding the role of executives’ characteristics in firms’ decisions to expand into and divest from foreign countries. More recently, I became interested in the management of socio-political issues and environments from the perspective of the multinational enterprises (MNEs). How do MNEs adjust their investment portfolios in multiple markets because of the improvement (deterioration) in countries’ diplomatic relations? What roles do MNEs play in addressing challenges such as the climate change? Do they react positively or negatively to environmental treaties and countries’ efforts to reduce emissions and rely more on renewable energy?

Prior to joining CBS, I worked in the finance sector in Eastern Europe and with international development in Somalia.
