Presentation and academic fields
I received an MA in China studies from University of Copenhagen (1991) and in 2006 I obtained a Ph.D Degree from INT(now called EGB).
The dissertation was ”Culture’s Influence on Performance Management: The Case of a Danish Company in China”.
I am no longer engaged in business research, but solely focus on teaching Mandarin Chinese language, mainly to students enrolled in the International Business in Asia Program.
Aside from teaching elementary Chinese, I also teach Chinese business culture and communication.
I am interested in new pedagogical trends that will fit into and develop language teaching. I have been working on trying to implement more e-learning in the language programme.
I have been experimenting with flipped classroom, and I have also been experimenting with new exam forms where video is the in main tool, for instance group video assignment handed in on digital exam.
