Peter Koerver Schmidt at Christiansborg

On 15 January 2020 Peter Koerver Schmidt, CBS LAW, participated in a hearing organized by the Danish parliament’s tax committee. The aim of the hearing was to discuss a recent bill (Bill L 48 2019/2020) dealing with the implementation of the Controlled Foreign Company rule (CFC rule) found in the EU Anti- Tax Avoidance into Danish tax legislation. During the hearing Peter answered questions from the politicians and made a presentation focusing on possible solutions and the relationship between the Danish rules and EU primary and secondary law.
