Præsentation

My research focuses on knowledge and ignorance in processes of organizing and management. My primary empirical areas of work are public organizations in Scandinavia, especially health care, management and leadership development, and, recently, agricultural organizations. I have analyzed topics such as organisational reforms and decision-making, patient involvement, standardization, and the authority and development of leaders. The studies have been guided by a communications theoretical approach and concepts such as authority, organizational views, reflexivity, critical performativity, and agnotology. My most recent research project studies how agricultural organizations deal with zoonoses based on specific knowledge structures.
