TREBLE

The Tricontinental Exchange in Business and Leadership Education programmme, TREBLE, is a collaboration between:

• Copenhagen Business School, CBS.
• Singapore Management University, SMU.
• University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, UNC.

Each year, the programme brings together 45 top undergraduate students to build additional academic skills and gain exposure to both business environments and practices.

WHO   

Each of the three universities will select 15 undergraduates to form a group of 45 students who live, study and travel together throughout the 18 months.

As a student in BSc IB, you can apply for TREBLE during your first semester. In the selection process, we take the following into consideration:

• grades
• interview performance in both personal and group sessions
• assessment of motivation and achievements.

The programmme is only open to students enrolled in the BSc IB programme.

WHERE

During the 18 months the TREBLE students study at the three different partnership universities. Throughout the programme, they will experience both the roles as hosts and visitors

UNC – 3rd semester will take place at Kenan-Flagler Business School at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

SMU - 4th semester will take place at Lee Kong Chian School of Business at Singapore Management University, SMU.

CBS – 5th semester will take place at Copenhagen Business School

WHEN

The first cohort of students will start the three-term programme in August 2025. The application deadline for the students at CBS is 1 January 2025 which means that students who start in BSc IB in September 2024 can apply.

STRUCTURE   

The students will spend their 3rd semester at UNC, North Carolina in the United States. Their fourth semester will be at SMU, Singapore and the fifth semester will in Copenhagen. The final sixth semester is dedicated to writing the bachelor project at the home university.
