Women: Careers, Role Models and Leadership

Seminar arranged by CBS Career Center and Ruter Dam

In Scandinavia, the statistics remain disappointingly clear: very few women occupy leadership roles. The Swedish Ruter Dam Foundation was set up to encourage the appointment of more women managers to higher posts in major companies. The seminar topics will be

  • The barriers to female advancement in organizational life

  • Practical strategies on how to work around the invisible promotion barriers

  • Promotion of greater gender diversity at the • executive level by identifying, developing and retaining female potential

Robyn V. Remke (PhD) is an Assistant Professor of Communication in the Department of Intercultural Communication and Management at CBS
