Solar Panels on Howitzvej

The CBS location on Howitzvej is now equipped with solar panels, which were installed in combination with the roof replacement of the building.

To track the energy production of the solar cells, there is a specific website with real time data. Energy from renewable sources plays a crucial role in CBS’s Green Transition strategy, as helps with reducing the campus’ CO2 footprint. The solar panels installed have already produced ~5000 kWh this year, which is more than the annual consumption of a household. They have also already reduced the CO2 footprint by 641 kg and will continue to make an important contribution to the university’s green transition.
