2024 COPENHAGEN – October 3, 2024 – Andreas Wieland, Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at Copenhagen Business School, took center stage today as the keynote speaker at the Security of Supply: Nordic Summit 2024. Held in Copenhagen, the summit brought together top experts from the Nordic countries to address the pressing challenges of securing critical supply chains.

Copenhagen, 10 June 2024: CBS's Department of Operations Management recently unveiled a revamped curriculum combining Managerial Economics (ME) and Organizational Economics (OE), aimed at integrating economic principles with organizational behavior. At a launch event for all teachers, presentations highlighted the curriculum's transition from foundational economic models to more complex organizational dynamics. The speakers emphasized the practical application of theories from Nobel laureates, equipping students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to tackle real-world business challenges.

The International Shipping and Trading program has experienced a dramatic surge in interest, with a staggering 39% increase in applications compared to the previous year. In 2023, the program received 196 first priority applications for just 75 available spots. This year, that number has risen to an impressive 272 applicants vying for the same number of seats, leading to an intense competition with 3.6 applicants vying per spot.
