ECON and CEAR Conference on Risk and Time Preferences 21-22 June 2010 This conference will be a focal point for scholars interested in preferences over risk, time and uncertainty. The conference is a two-day event organized around presentations by invited speakers. The theme of the conference will be the search for theoretical, experimental and econometric characterizations of preferences. Experimental methods are used as bridge to operationalize theoretical models. A key feature of the conference will be the emphasis on theoretically consistent econometric methods.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held at Copenhagen Business School, which is located just outside the centre of Copenhagen with easy access by public transportation.

Accommodation

All invited participants and speakers will be staying at the Admiral hotel.

Registration

We invite people to participate in the conference. To participate in the conference please register by sending an email to Steffen Andersen. Participants will be charged a conference fee of DKK1000, which covers the lunches, coffee and conference materials. To help young researchers attend the conference, we will consider waiving the conference fee for up to 10 junior researchers. Please send a short application and your CV to Steffen Andersen before May 1, 2010.
