Chinese Culture and Society Lecture series will provide introductory background knowledge about the Modern Chinese Culture. Mr. Zhang Zhihong from the Embassy of China in Denmark will give a lecture about the Chinese society and culture after 1970s. Chinese society and culture have been undergoing fundamental changes since the late 1970s when China adopted the policy of reform and opening up(kaigekefang). Globalization has also been instrumental in bringing about enormous influence in Chinese culture. Within this framework, the development of culture in present day China will be analyzed. After the presentation there will be opportunities to pose questions and present own experiences from interaction with Chinese colleagues or customers.
