Chinese Culture and Society Lecture

eries will provide introductory background knowledge about the Chinese philosophy. How do we understand traditional Chinese thought, and is it really much different from Western traditions? Does traditional Chinese thought have any impact on China today, and is it relevant to our understanding of modern China? Is it relevant for doing business with the Chinese? And what is so special about Confucianism? This lecture attempts to provide some answers to these and a number of other questions that they give rise to. After the presentation there will be opportunities to pose questions and present own experiences from interaction with Chinese colleagues or customers.
