Urban Environmental Management in Developing Countries - Environmental Health, Planning and Capacity Development
This conference is organized by ReNED, jointly with Danish Water Forum-
Research. The main objectives of the conference are to:

Discuss pertinent issues within UEM, i.e. environmental health, planning and capacity development in the context of sustainable development and poverty reduction. Key foci areas include physical planning and informal settlements, service provision and environmental health and pollution and waste management

Identify research needs and provide recommendations for strategies for development assistance including the role of the Danish resource base.
