Kaffeklubben and Copenhagen Business School are happy to invite to Fair trade event.
A lot is said and written about fair trade in the Danish media, but what does Fair trade actually mean to coffee producers in developing countries, importers, roasters, retail, ho.re.ca and not the least, to Danish consumers?

Some of the main issues that are discussed are: the difference between fair trade and unfair trade? Fair trade Certification systems and labelling organisations.How can Fair trade create value for roasters and retailers? Why are consumers buying Fair trade and how can the positive impact of Fair trade be strengthened?

About this Fair trade event:
Fairtrade I, is the first of two events that Kaffeklubben is organising together with the Center for Business and Development Studies at CBS.
Fair trade I focus on fair trade consumption in Denmark, while Fairtrade II, scheduled for September 2007, is going to concentrate on fair trade in the producer countries.
