The purpose of this encyclopedia is to make it easier to work with labor market issues irrespective of ones place of work and posistion.
The labor market policy area encompasses organisations (and their abreviations), person names, various levels of authority, and a great number of legal, economic, and political concepts.
A special effort has been made to present each concept in a context of labor market policy.
To work with labor market issues has become still more important over the last years as the area has developed widespread significance for the politcal agenda.
Furthermore, Labor market policy is also playing a significant role in the future of the welfare state, in sustaining the competitiveness of the Danish Political Economy, for integration, and for the export of the Danish labor market model.
