Leading conference to CBS
His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Frederik is guest of honour
When the 24th Graduate Business Conference (GBC) for 150 of the world’s best MBA business students from the most prominent universities in the USA, Europe and Asia is taking place at Copenhagen Business School, it will be the first time ever that the event is hosted out side of the USA.
The theme of the conference, which runs from 6-9 April 2006, is “Discovering Potential – Leadership from within” and the prominent award “Student Leadership Award” will be presented on 7 April 2006 by Jim Deveau, the Founder of the mother organisation Graduate Business Foundation, and HRH Crown Prince Frederik.
“The conference is an important, strategic aiming for CBS because we want to strengthen our international position”, says Finn Junge-Jensen, President, CBS.
The conference is a mixture of speakers, mini-lectures and workshops with top leaders Jan Leschly and Alf Duch-Pedersen as key note speakers. Furthermore, a number of prominent people from the business world will participate, among others Gary Neilson, Senior Vice President, Booz Allen Hamilton.
The theme “Discovering Potential” is developed by CBS students, researchers and representatives from the conference partners; Novo Nordisk, Danisco, Carlsberg, Booz Allen Hamilton, Novozymes, HUR, Saxo Bank, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Danske Bank.
