From trade school to business school
Conferences, competitions, debates and exercise.
The anniversary year will bring it all when Copenhagen Business School celebrates its 90th anniversary.
- We would like to take this opportunity to invite business connections, politicians and friends, so that they can meet our students and researchers. A lot of exciting things will be going on and an anniversary is a fabulous opportunity for opening our doors and showing the diversity that is Copenhagen Business School, says Director Gert Bechlund.
From relay race to conferences
The anniversary will offer professional as well as social arrangements. One of the first arrangements is the anniversary relay race where CBS’ employees, students, Corporate Partners as well as the entire Campus at Frederiksberg are invited to run in the team relay race.
In October CBS’ best idea will be chosen – a competition that will be arranged in collaboration with Stardust, Moderate Students and Venture Cup.
In November on the date of the actual anniversary a celebration will be held at a conference on globalization, cultural understanding as well as business and politics over two days. The programme runs over an entire year.
We look toward 2017
The party will begin on September 4th where employees, students and a number of collaborators will be invited to the opening reception.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and adjunct professor Uffe Ellemann-Jensen offers his take on what we have learned during the past 90 years from a security political and political point of view. He also looks at the perspective of CBS’ 100-year anniversary.
The President of FUHU, Thomas Hofman-Bang will be there and will give a talk on the future challenges from a business perspective.
- Thomas Hofman-Bang represents FUHU, which is the reason that CBS exists but as a businessman he also represents the fact that CBS is deeply rooted in business life, says Gert Bechlund.
Maria Lucia Heiberg Rosenberg, Mathias Hedegaard and Carol Conrad provide musical entertainment.
