Euler Hermes and CBS enter a partnership
A new corporate partner
Worldwide, they cover more than 40 million businesses, and insure 49,000 customers against loss in more than 200 countries.
From 1st November, Credit Insurers Euler Hermes will add a new string to their bow by becoming corporate partners with CBS. The company is a member of the Allianz Group, which employs more than 200,000 people around the world.
-We believe that partnering with an institution of higher education like CBS is the greatest platform imaginable to communicate with the decision makers of the future. Our future success hinges on us being able to attract young people with an international perspective, and who have the aptitude and desire to become involved in the various directions within the economic disciplines, says Administration Director, Peter Hecht-Hansen.
He adds that the company is also interested in the synergies that lie in the sharing of knowledge between a financial business, such as Euler Hermes, and the academic environment at CBS.
-We are convinced that both sides have much to offer each other in the future, says Peter Hecht-Hansen.
A new type of partnership
With CBS currently having 23 corporate partners, Euler Hermes will be in good company with firms such as Danske Bank, Grundfos, Carlsberg Group and Novozymes.
The partnerships are developing all the time, so that which may have begun with just a bag of money and a sign on the wall, has now developed into a very close collaboration between CBS and the participating companies, taking inspiration from the students in relation to case studies and in return passing on their experiences by being guest lecturers.
Director for CBS Corporate Relations, Jette Ryttergaard, explains that CBS is ready to create new standards for what can be achieved through a close partnership.
A visible example of these partnerships is the new lounge that Novozymes has furnished with Philippe Starck chairs and computer access points. Here, the students can read, meet with their study group, or just relax.
