Guest lecture with Søren Jensen, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Denmark, Washington DC, at the Center for the Study of the Americas
US Elections and Global Challenges
The United States is entering what could be a historically long campaign for the highest office of government. Who are the contenders in the race for the November 2008 Presidential Elections, what are the issues and how will the race affect the role of the US in dealing with ongoing global challenges and with its relations to partners and allies? These and related issues will be discussed in the lecture.
