Presentation
  • Currently working from the Department of Operations Management, I have previously worked at the Department of Management Accounting, and later Informatics and Management Accounting. Based on my professional training from organizational studies and sociology at CBS, I recognise that there are multiple views on organisations, organisational processes and structures.  These different views provide us with different lenses for the interpretation and analysis's of companies and organisations.
  • I have a keen interest in organisational decision making and issues related to the implementation and use of different management technologies. These management tools might be based on IT or be conceptual ones. For the last ten years we have been driving a research program trying to critically examine and study some of the taken for granted management technologies within the area of product development and portfolio management.  Besides, I have a more than 30 years interaction with projects and project-based temporary organisations.
  • I enjoy the interactive work with students and managers from public and private organisations.  For the past ten years I been happily involved with the International Product Development Management Conference, and has since 2008 been involved in the annual Doctoral Workshop for the IPDMC.
